   • Install the detector in areas where water leaks are likely to occur, such as:
     • Near washing machines or dishwashers.

     • In basements prone to flooding.
   • Avoid areas with constant water presence or high humidity, as this could cause false alarms.

2. Mounting the Sensor:

   • Position the water sensor probe (connected to the WL-WE) on the floor or a flat surface where water accumulation would be detected first.
   • Secure the main body of the detector to a wall or a safe spot using screws or adhesive strips, ensuring the cable connecting to the probe is not stressed.

3. Power and Enrollment:

   • Insert the included batteries or verify they are installed properly.
   • Enroll the device into your Pyronix alarm system:
     • Access the programming menu on the alarm panel.
     • Use the "Learn Device" option and activate the WL-WE (often by removing and replacing the battery or pressing a button) to pair it with the panel.

   • Place the sensor probe in contact with a small amount of water to confirm it triggers an alert on the alarm panel.

• Wireless Expanders: Can be used with Pyronix hybrid or wired systems when paired with a compatible expander.
