The TEXECOM AGB-0002 is a Rate of Rise (RR) Heat Detector that specifically monitors temperature changes within an environment. Unlike traditional fixed temperature heat detectors, the RR heat detector responds to rapid increases in temperature, making it effective for early detection of fires in environments where a sudden temperature rise can be indicative of a fire. This type of sensor is typically used in areas where traditional smoke detectors may not be suitable or may cause false alarms.
