What it Does:

Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that can be very dangerous if inhaled in high concentrations, making this sensor crucial for safety and early warning in homes or businesses.

• Detection: It detects carbon monoxide gas in the air, which can be produced by malfunctioning fuel-burning appliances (e.g., boilers, cookers, fireplaces, etc.).
• Wireless Operation: It operates wirelessly, making it easy to integrate with Pyronix alarm systems like the Enforcer or Euro panels.

How it Works:

• Gas Detection:

  • The sensor uses an electrochemical cell to detect the presence of carbon monoxide (CO) in the air. When CO is detected, the sensor triggers an alarm to alert you to the potentially dangerous conditions.
  • It monitors the air for CO concentrations and will trigger an alarm when the levels reach the pre-set threshold.

• Wireless Communication:

  • The sensor communicates wirelessly with the alarm control panel, such as Pyronix Enforcer, through the Pyronix proprietary wireless technology.
  • Once it detects CO, it sends a signal to the control panel, which can trigger the alarm, send alerts to the user, or activate any configured emergency procedures.

Where to Install:
